Dr Duguid has worked at Plaza Medical Centre since 2000 after moving from a practice in rural South Australia. He is interested in the variety of general practice and the long term relationships developed with people and their families. Dr Duguid is no longer taking on new patients.

Dr Claire Cooper is originally from the UK where she completed her training and worked in the hospital system for several years in Glasgow. Since moving to Coffs Harbour she has worked in the Emergency Department for over 2 years before starting her GP training. She has a broad range of interest within General Practice. Dr Cooper is working Tuesday and Fridays. Privately GP.

Dr Shahab Shirazi initially trained as a physiotherapist before finishing his medical degree. He has worked in different capacities both in Sydney and on the north coast from Kempsey to Ballina before settling in Coffs with his family. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and tries to maintain a long term relationship with his patients. He also works part time for the University of New South Wales teaching and lecturing medical students. He is no longer taking on new patients.

Dr Amanda Henderson gained her medical degree in New Zealand and worked in NZ hospital’s for several years before moving to Coffs Harbour in search of warmer weather and beautiful beaches. She pursued advanced training in Emergency Medicine before making the transition into General Practice. Special interest in acute/emergency medicine, sports medicine and working with her patients to be motivated to be the healthiest version of themselves. Dr Henderson is a private billing doctor and currently not taking on new patients’.

After finishing his primary degree in Medicine he graduated from South Africa with a post graduate degree in Sports Medicine. Having worked in various countries he settled in Australia where he worked in rural country Victoria and then moved to Coffs Harbour. He deals with all aspects of General Practice and has a special interest in Musculoskeletal/Sports Medicine and Aviation Medicine. Dr Wulff is no longer taking on new patients. Dr Wulff is a private billing GP.

Dr Stephanie Kerr completed her medical degree at the University of Otago (New Zealand) in 2009. Following this she worked at Christchurch Hospital before moving to Melbourne to work at The Alfred Hospital for 2 years as well as a number of regional hospitals in NSW and Tasmania. Dr Kerr completed her General Practice training in Melbourne. She has special interests in women’s, family and child health. She has a Diploma in Child Health (University of Sydney) and is also experienced in the insertion and removal of Implant contraceptive implants. Dr Kerr moved to Coffs Harbour at the beginning of 2021 to enjoy the beaches and sunshine. In her spare time she enjoys running, sailing and spending time with her family. Dr Kerr consults at Plaza Medical on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Dr Kerr is not currently taking on any new patients with the exception of antenatal and paediatric patient’s. Dr Kerr is a privately billing GP.

Dr Ellis graduated from Melbourne University in 1981. He has practiced in Coffs Harbour for the past 30 years and has a special interest in HIV. Dr Ellis is a private billing doctor and currently not taking on new patients’.

Dr Brigid Skipper is originally from Melbourne where she completed her medical degree and worked in the hospital system for several years. She enjoys the diversity of general practice and caring for people from all stages of life. When she is not at work she enjoys walking her Kelpie and spending time in the garden. Dr Skipper is a privately billing GP and will only bulk bill children and patients over 80. DR SKIPPER IS CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE.

Dr Kalic began his studies in molecular medicine and obtained a first class degree with honours before completing medical school in England. He returned to Australia in 2018 to be closer to family after several years of working in London hospitals. Since then, he has been working in emergency medicine at the Townsville University Hospital, the Gold Coast University Hospital and the Robina Hospital before joining our practice in 2022. Dr Kalic is interested in building long term relationships with his patients and their families. When not at work, Dr Kalic enjoys fishing, boating and music. Dr Kalic is a privately billing GP.

Dr Devon Butler

Originally from Canada, Dr Devon Butler obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. She completed her internship in Townsville and Mount Isa. Dr Butler then moved to the Gold Coast for additional training as a resident medical officer in various surgical and medical specialties at the Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital. Prior to her decision to pursue medicine, Dr Butler completed a Kinesiology degree (Bachelor of Science) from the University of Calgary. Dr Butler has a special interest in Ophthalmology and Sports Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors. Dr Butler is a private billing GP

Dr. Scott Wilsmore graduated from the University of Newcastle / University of New England Joint Medical Program, Bachelor of Medicine (B.Med) with Distinction in 2019. Prior to Medicine, Scott has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Engineering) degree at University of Wollongong.

Scott is passionate about rural medicine. Having grown up in the North Coast town of Grafton, Scott has undertaken medical training in a number of rural areas from Armidale and Tamworth and completed internship and residency at Coffs Harbour Hospital Campus and Macksville Hospital with rotations in Mental Health, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Cardiology.

In his time outside of work, Scott enjoys the coastal community with his wife, 3 children, and 2 dogs. Scott is also an avid sportsperson having previously participated in cricket, hockey and also completed a number of triathlons events including Australian Ironman championship. These days Scott enjoys the fresh coastal trails for running at a more relaxed pace.

Scott is truly interested in holistic health care and working with clients to improve their physical, mental, and social well-being. Scott has a particular interest in the following areas of health care:
– Mental Health
– Paediatric and Adolescent Health
– Geriatrics
– Sports Medicine
– Oncology

Scott also continues to maintain acute emergency medicine skills participating in the hospital emergency department roster at Coffs Harbour Hospital from time to time.
